An Akron, OH native, Kyle attended Western Reserve Academy before going on to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Maryland. During his career with the Terrapins, he was a two-time All-American, Team MVP, captain, and recipient of the prestigious Ensign C. Markland Kelly Jr. Award, presented annually to the nation’s top collegiate goaltender.

Following his collegiate success, Kyle was drafted by the Ohio Machine of Major League Lacrosse, where he won a championship in 2017. He later starred in the Premier Lacrosse League with the Whipsnakes LC, winning back-to-back championships and earning the 2022 PLL Goalie of the Year award. Over his professional career, which concluded in 2025, Kyle led the league in save percentage in three different seasons and was selected to six all-star teams.

Off the field, Kyle has made a significant impact as a coach. He has coached at the Division I level with Cleveland State University and Bellarmine University, as well as at his alma mater Western Reserve Academy. He now serves as the head coach at Saint Ignatius High School. 

At KBGA, our sessions wouldn’t be possible without our outstanding support staff, made up primarily of collegiate shooters and current high school and college coaches. We take pride in maintaining a 2:1 goalie-to-coach ratio, ensuring every athlete receives focused, high-quality instruction. On average, each training session features 12–15 shooters, creating a fast-paced, dynamic environment that maximizes meaningful reps you won’t find anywhere else.
